Quality management

Translations that conform to ISO 9001, ISO 17100 and ISO 18587

We have been certified to both ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17100:2016-5 since February of this year, and to ISO 18587 – the standard for machine translation and post-editing – since May 2024

ISO 17100 certification offers our clients the assurance of a high-quality, consistent and efficient translation service in compliance with strict international quality and confidentiality standards. Our compliance with these high standards is ensured by regular quality measurements and assessments. Our quality management in accordance with DIN EN ISO 17100 is based on DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.

The ISO 17100 standard clearly sets out and regulates the individual processes for translation services. It places specific demands on the qualification and further training of human resources, on the technical infrastructure and technologies used, on data protection, project management, editing and complaints management.

The requirements of DIN EN ISO 17100 include

Standardized processes and quality features

Professional quality and project management

Defined procedure and documented proof of ongoing training for all employees involved

Expertise and development of project management

Data protection for project-related customer information

Specialist expertise for translators

Although our processes are standardized, we tailor our workflows and quality assurance to the individual circumstances and wishes of our customers.

If you have any questions about our certifications, please do not hesitate to contact us.
